This means that the manager does not have to change anything in their legal agreements for SmartDocs to work, however, investors and advisor are presented with a near uniform questionnaire across different funds, making the process fast and simple for all involved.
Automated subscription and KYC documents
SmartDocs algorithms automatically generates web forms based on the rules of each underlying legal document. Unlike other systems the forms aren’t pre-programmed, which means managers can quickly change rules and ensure that their document flow makes sense for their investors and advisors.
Investors and advisors are only asked questions that are relevant to them; and SmartDocs knows when to ask follow up questions. For example, if an advisor requests a discretionary document, only the relevant exemptions will be shown to the advisor, but they will not be allowed to proceed until they fill in all required fields.
